There are several delineations of marketing that have been explained by experts. still, in general, marketing can be interpreted as a series of conditions to meet consumer requirements and satisfaction. 

According to Kotler & Armstrong (2008), marketing or marketing is a process by which companies produce value for guests and make strong connections with guests with the end of landing value from guests in return.


According to Chaffey (2009), marketing is an operation process that is responsible for relating, anticipating and satisfying client needs profitably.


Types of Marketing Strategy

Paid advertising includes traditional approaches, similar as TV and print advertising. As technology develops moment, one marketing approach that's relatively popular is internet marketing. 

4. Undercover Marketing 

This type of marketing strategy is also known as covert marketing. This is because the marketing of the product isn't known by implicit consumers. 

5. Internet marketing

Marketing Stages 

There are several marketing stages that must be passed to ensure the product is ready to be bought and sold. 

  • Ideation: Developing an idea is an important process in the marketing stage. Decide what to sell, how many choices are available, and how to present it to consumers.
  • Research and Testing: As a consideration before marketing a product, market research or testing is usually carried out. This is done, among others, to measure consumer interest, refine ideas, to determine product prices.
  • Advertising: The information that has been obtained from the research process can be used to determine sales strategies and create advertising campaigns. But before that, set concrete benchmarks to measure the effectiveness of the advertising campaign.
  • Selling: Decide where and how you plan to sell your product to customers.
